Day two of the USTRC Cinch National Finals of Team Roping started off with the Resistol #14.5 Shootout. With 384 teams entered, 30 teams came back to the short round looking at a piece of the $211,000 pay out. 16th call back team of Billy Bob Brown and Kade Weatherman came out hot and ready to play, with a time of 5.80 on their 4th steer which set the pace for the rest of the short round. Their total time of 29.74 held up all the way until high team back Corben Culley & World Champion Steer wrestler Tyler Pearson roped a 7.74 on their final steer, giving them the win by .21 seconds.
