The 2022 USTRC Cinch National Finals of Team Roping ended on the final day with the #7 Classic Equine Championships. 50 teams came back to the third and final short round to try their shot at winning one of the ten custom Scott Thomas Saddles and a piece of the $65,500. Hudson Smith and Billy Jones secured the win with a smoking time of 7.47, giving them a total time of 22.94 on three. They take home $14,000 and Scott Thomas Saddles. 2nd thru 4th were also awarded saddles. Legendary former USTRC President and PRCA commissioner, Karl Stressman, and his partner Rob Smets came all the way from the 49th callback position winning 9th. OJ Ruiz Jr. and Francisco Navarrete win the fast time with an incredible time of 6.38 in the short round.
