The USTRC Cinch NFTR Sponsor Gold Buckle Beer added $10,000 to the Open Roping drawing a lot of top-notch ropers and the event did not disappoint. Thirty teams came back with a shot at the $108,400 payout. The short round started uneventful until the 15th call back team of Kaden Profili and Billy Bob Brown made a 5.06 run winning the short go fast time. The pressure was mounting with quite a few other teams missing their 5th and final steer. The top four teams heated things up as each one bested the prior team. The final team needed a 7.8 run to seal the deal. High call back and the best in the world Kaleb Driggers & Junior Nogueira backed into the box with a crowd pleasing run and live stream excitement. Junior pulled back with his signature move clocking a 6.76 on their final steer giving them the win with a total of 31.68 on 5. They took home $42,200, Gist Silversmith Buckles, Resistol Hats, and HorsePower Boots.
