The wait is almost over. In just over a month, we will welcome you to the 37th Cinch National Finals of Team Roping, April 19–26 in Fort Worth, Texas, once again hosting the largest and most family-friendly team roping event in the country.

For nearly four decades, the USTRC has been built on a simple promise: to provide an affordable, fair opportunity for every roper and every family member to compete. That tradition continues at the US Finals. From beginners and young ropers learning how to win, to seasoned veterans competing in our age-protected divisions, the NFTR is designed so that everyone — at every age and every skill level — has a place to rope, compete, and chase meaningful payouts.

This year's Finals will once again feature the fast-paced three-arena format you've come to expect, kicking off with the Open division and running through the #7.5. Our age-protected events, including the Over 40 and Over 50 divisions, remain a cornerstone of the USTRC and are an important part of keeping competition fair, competitive, and enjoyable for ropers at every stage of life.

We also want to highlight the continued growth and excitement around our Key Card and Key Card Max events. These are higher-fee, higher-reward opportunities, built for ropers who want to compete for bigger payouts and premium prize lines. Key Card members are eligible for exclusive entry discounts, and for many ropers, a Key Card membership pays for itself in just a couple of entries at the Finals. Added benefits include Run Delivery, Live Streaming, Roping.com membership, US Roper roadside assistance, and more — truly the most bang for your buck at the Cinch NFTR.

In addition, the Cinch National Finals of Team Roping is where we will crown the yearlong champions in the Resistol Junior and Cinch All Girl award races. These prestigious awards are available only to ropers who attend and compete at the USTRC Finals, making Fort Worth the must-attend event of the season for those chasing year-end honors.

Inside this issue, you'll find everything you need to plan your trip to Cowtown, including event order, entry fees, stalls, and important deadlines. Please pay close attention to postmark and online entry dates to ensure you receive all available entry discounts.

Important reminder for ropers 20 and under (born 2006 or later): Beginning November 28, 2025, ropers under 21 must have at least 10 entries at any GEMS event to be eligible to rope at the US Finals. Families are the backbone of the USTRC, and we've made it easier than ever to meet this requirement by counting all entries at any GEMS event — not 10 separate events, just 10 total entries. These entries must be completed prior to all entry deadlines to qualify for any discounts. This rule helps us maintain the most level playing field possible as young ropers can progress very quickly in ability.
